Happy Birthday To The Baba Yaga Of Football

Before we wish Leo a happy birthday, we should first of all, thank the chief host of the occasion (GOD), the hosts (Jorge and Maria Messi), and the associates (Newell’s Old Boys, Barcelona) for featuring in the making of our Football DemiGod.
Lionel Messi is 33 today, and for me, i’m happy and sad at the same time, and that is because very soon he gonna retire and i will not get to see him play football every week. I wish you could grow younger because the football world will suffer after your retirement. He has wowed us on a daily basis that we have completely lost superlatives to describe him.

Good Dribbler, Good Passer, and a Good Kisser

Currently he has a very beautiful teammate at home (Antonela) and have scored an amazing hat-trick ( Thiago, Matteo, and Ciro ) as usual. In the Pitch he has faced 860 opponents and have scored 629 times, and assisted his teammates 312 times. He also has six Ballon d’Ors, six best Fifa Men’s player awards, four champions leagues, ten La Liga titles, and six golden shoes amongst over 200 records & titles, and the greatest footballer ever isn’t done yet.

Messi Loves Scoring Hat-tricks

Pep Guardiola once said in an interview,  “Don’t write about him, don’t try to describe him. Just watch him”. And that is what we should be doing at all times. Leo is a conjurer, a superman, and a joker (his opponents love him). I call him the master of all masters, a mix of the real and the virtual.

King Leo the Artist

Some People criticize him saying he has no world cup trophy and that he is not great, and  i ask myself, with Argentina he has won the U21-World cup, an Olympics Gold Medal, Top Goalscorer $ Assists and  how in the world did a makeshift Argentinian team manage to reach to two Copa finals and one world cup final if not for that same Messi, or should we now blame him for the famous Higuian missed chances or for missing a penalty kick? Yes he is a Demigod but not a God, and the ‘Demi’ there means he is human too and the sports is not an individual sports like Boxing, Lawn Tennis, Golf, Or wrestling. It’s a 22-man Game, and he is just one man out of the 22 men.

Leo and his Beautiful Family

Also some people argue that he should prove himself in another league, and when i hear that i ask myself again, should he leave a mighty club like Barcelona where he is adored and paid very well (the highest paid player in the world ) and go where?
In life, when you’re leaving a place, you should aim for a better place, and in my opinion the clubs that are at the same level with Barcelona or above them in the world right now are Real Madrid, Man City, and Juventus. The rest i think are a level below Barcelona, so lets do the maths.
He is definitely not going to Madrid, and he also can’t go to Juventus because there is another captain there, and two captains can’t be in one ship. As for Man City, he can go there but i don’t think he will because Staying firm in your friendship or support for someone or something is one of the factory settings of a DemiGod.

Messi’s Free-kick Goal vs Liverpool

Also when you look at Messi’s record against the top six premiership clubs (Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Tottenham ), he has scored 26 Times and assisted 6 in 34 appearances, and he only meets them in the champion league so what makes you think he will not dominate that league? He has set the standard so high even for himself that we criticize him when he maybe goes two matches without scoring, forgetting that this Messi is 33 years old not 19.

Tell me you don’t see a DemiGod

His only problem is that he is just too good. He is the Baba Yaga of football. Just like John Wick, Messi is a Man of Focus, a Man of  Commitment, and a Man of Great Dribbling, My advice to all of you hating on this little magician is to ‘STOP HATING’ and enjoy him everytime he steps on the pitch because believe me, in the next 5-7 years you will wish to watch him play but all you will get by then will be his old football clips on YouTube.

When Lionel Messi scored his first goal 15 years ago

Before we conclude, we will like to wish Leo a very warm and beautiful birthday. Your days will be like that of Methuselah, your wife and kids will give you peace in this life, your 100th generation will never lack anything in life, and you will always be known as the God of Football in this life and in the afterlife.

Happy birthday La Pulga. You are one of a kind Leo. Thank you for everything.
