Who is the Strongest Avenger In The Marvel Universe?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced a huge cast of superheroes with a wide array of abilities, and judging from the number of superheroes that appeared in the Avengers Endgame, we will say that the Avengers team is arguably the most recognizable superhero team on the planet and also the highest grossing movie in history.

For the List, we will be taking a few things into consideration here, like every hero’s value on the battlefield, and how well they could use their powers. Now we know that no matter what facts we write, each fan has their own opinion as to which superhero is his or her best. Frankly we cannot call all the superheroes that fought Thanos an Avenger, like the Guardians of the Galaxy who joined the Avengers later in the Endgame, Quicksilver who died saving an Avenger, and Wasp. Let’s Dive In.

Who is the Strongest Avenger In The Marvel Universe?

#16: FALCON: He was first introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Sam Wilson is a veteran of the US Air force, and also a good friend of the Captain. He is good at flying, fighting, and shooting but without his wings, he is just a normal guy like iron man, ant-man or War machine. He also got promoted to the top when Captain America chooses him as his successor.

#15: War Machine: Just like Falcon, Colonel James Rhodes has no powers or even any hand-to-hand combat for that matter but with his iron suit made by Tony Stark, he’s got a wide array of firepower that can cause lots of problems for his enemies. Unlike Iron Man, War Machine lacks complete mastery of his suit as we saw him fell off the sky in Captain America ‘Civil War’.

#14: Winter Soldier: While some might say that Bucky Baines is not an Avenger, we say he has earned a place in the team. He’s got the same super soldier treatment that the Captain got and also more action and training for literally 70 years. He has enhanced strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and also a cybernetic arm that is made of vibranium, which increases his strength even more. When his mind was still controlled by Hydra, he was ruthless but since it was reseted by Shuri in Wakanda, we have only seen him use only guns.

#13: Ant-Man: One of my favorite MCU characters. He is Calm & funny. He uses a size-manipulation suit designed by Hank Pym to shrink to incredibly small sizes, grow to incredibly large ones and increase his strength. Like Falcon & War machine Scott Lang is pretty useless without his suit, but with the suit Scott is invincible and also the help he gets from ants makes him a tricky opponent to fight against.

#12: Spider-Man: A valuable member of the Avengers and one of Marvel’s most loved Superhero. It’s true that he’s still young and relatively inexperienced but Peter Parker’s spider-endowed abilities are out of this world. He has superhuman strength, agility, speed, and can climb walls and also he can shoot webs from his hands. In Civil War, we saw Spider-man defeat winter soldier & falcon and also stood his ground against the Captain. Now he has a super-enhanced suit designed by Tony Stark which makes him stronger.

#11: Hawkeye: At least he can tell Tony to give him a suit just like he gave War Machine & Spider-man, but Hawkeye does not care. He is out in the battlefield with Demi-Gods & Super Soldiers but he still survives shooting arrows at aliens. He does not have any superpowers but he is Damm good with those arrows and he is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat, can use swords and all sorts. From the look of things, I don’t think the MCU has got a storyline for him.

#10: Black Widow: Beautiful, Sexy, amazing fighting skills and courage under pressure makes her my Favorite Avenger ever but I can’t say she is the strongest Avenger, but she is a complete badass. Natasha Romanoff AKA Black Widow first appeared in Iron Man 2 and as far as superhero without power goes she tops everyone. She can handle guns, spears, knives, or swords with ease. She is one of the Avengers that have faced the Hulk. I cried when she scarified herself in Endgame but at least we will get to see her solo movie soonest.

#9: Vision: Vision is another sad mention on our list considering the events of Avengers: Infinity War. He had the Mind Stone embedded in his forehead, a vibranium body that allows him to walk through walls and fly and also he can calculate and solved problems in a matter of seconds. He was also one of the Avengers to wield Thor’s Hammer. When it comes to battle, I don’t think he impressed us much considering his powers.

#8: Doctor Strange: A master of the mystic arts. Dr Stephen Strange is a sorcerer sworn to defend the fabric of reality. Strange’s powers are not the usual combat skills we see in the other Avengers, He can shift time and dimensions at free will, fly, teleport, and can use his cape to restrain enemies. He can teleport more than 50 million soldiers from across the galaxy, and with that kind of power, we can say he is one of the strongest Avengers.

#7: Iron-Man:  One of the most important members of the Avengers. As Brains is concerned, Tony has the lion’s share. His mind-blowing genius has been a very huge advantage for the Avengers. Yes he’s Proud but also he’s a philanthropist. When it comes to battles Tony is fearless. He has complete mastery of his suit more than any of the Avengers has over their abilities. It’s a petty he has to die in Endgame. It was one of the most sorrowful moments in Hollywood movies ever.

#6: Black Panther: Black Panther AKA T’Challa is the King of Wakanda. He was first introduced to the MCU in Captain America: Civil War. The Black Panther is also a master martial artist and tactician. His Black Panther suit is weaved with nearly indestructible vibranium that can absorb kinetic energy, such as blasts or punches and claws that are useful against his enemies, but don’t think he’s useless without the suit because he has incredibly enhanced strength, vision, speed, healing, and  hearing. in “Civil War,” he fought Winter Soldier in hand-to-hand combat without his suit.

#5: Captain America: Steve Rogers was the one and only successful test subject of Dr. Erskine’s super-soldier serum that gave him superhuman strength, agility, combat powers, and faster healing ability. He also wields a shield made of vibranium, and can handle any other weapon including Thor’s hammer. He is unbeatable in close hand-to-hand combat and has faced many. Captain America’s strength, leadership, and moral compass make him the Invaluable Avenger. I was not necessary happy with his decision to hand over to Falcon in Endgame.

#4: Captain Marvel: According to MCU, Captain Marvel is the strongest character ever but according to our list she is the second most powerful. Her Powers includes superhuman strength, speed, and durability. She can also fly and can emit extremely powerful photon blasters from her fists. Although she was born on Earth as a regular human, Carol Danvers Aka Captain Marvel absorbed the power of the Tesseract to gain her powers. Her entrance in Avengers Endgame was Magnificent.

#3: Hulk: Hulk has traditionally been seen as the strongest Avenger physically and it’s never actually been settled, whether Hulk is stronger than Thor or not. I think that when it comes to Brute strength and might, Hulk has got the lion’s share. The other Hulk (Bruce Banner) is also a genius, but since Bruce learnt to merge his mind with hulk’s body, he seems thoroughly disinterested in fighting. In Infinity War, the Hulk refused to come out so Bruce showed bravery by still fighting as his normal human self.

#2: Scarlet Witch: Wanda Maximoff and her brother were the voluntary subjects of Hydra experiments. While her brother died saving an Avenger (Which therefore make him an Avenger), Wanda Joined the Avengers. Wanda Powers Include abilities like telekinesis, telepathy, and energy manipulation. She can also Twist the minds of her enemies and plant realistic, disturbing visions that can incapacitate them out of fear. We saw her do just that in Avengers “Age of Ultron” with Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, and Captain America.  She was also the only Avenger who was able to face Thanos twice on a one-on-one situation while sustaining zero injuries.

#1: Thor:  Thor is to MCU what Superman is to DC. Thor is our strongest Avenger. He is also the funniest Avenger too.  Thor is most powerful when he can channel his powers through an enchanted, loyal weapon forged on Nidavellir, like the hammer, Mjolnir, or the ax, Stormbreaker. But as the God of Thunder, he can also summon and harness pure lightning. Thor has really gone through a lot but still manages to be positive and focused for the good of the Avengers and Earth. He lost his whole Family, Lost his home, his hammer, his eye, and in infinity war we see him literally taking the full force of the sun. His appearance in Infinity War with Rocket & Groot was Glorious.
